In this horses and flowers series painting I incorporated the horses
mane as part of the powerful striking leaves of this huge sunflower, and
the symbolism reflects not only the flowers largesse as the sun, but
the lifting up of the horse shows also the desire to rise up to the sun,
and as an ascendant into heaven to seek the Son. Done in Liquitex soft
body paints, which I find are very rich and saturated. This 20"x16"x1.5"
